The brief
Establish a distinctive, differentiated identity for the fragrance category at Sephora. Create a perception change from fragrance as a special occasion item to a lifestyle item that is relatable, playful and personal, without losing the luxury appeal.
Establish a distinctive, differentiated identity for the fragrance category at Sephora. Create a perception change from fragrance as a special occasion item to a lifestyle item that is relatable, playful and personal, without losing the luxury appeal.
THE CREATIVE
Heroic, glossy bottle photography, paired with seasonal illustrations that depict everyday activities, celebrate the beautiful luxe bottles while bringing fragrance back down to earth in a fresh, approachable way. The iconic black and white Sephora stripes are included throughout as well as a range of diverse characters that represent the inclusive mission central to Sephora's brand DNA. A customized system for retouching seamlessly blended product photography with the illustration, and allowed for flexibility across multiple product assortments, assets, and marketing channels.
